AIA 2020 - Process

Selection of innovative projects for the awards involve the following stages:

Stage 01- IDEA submission in the form of an Abstract

Stage 02: Evaluation of Ideas by a technical Team

Stage 03: Final presentation of the selected projects in front of a panel of three judges.

Stage 04: Declaring the Winners

A total of 191 students consisting of 57 teams from 18 schools have submitted their innovative ideas. Each team was formed with a minimum of one student to a maximum of 4 students. 22 teams consisting of 48 students were selected for presentation before the panel. The following are the major criteria based on which projects are evaluated:

  1. Novelty of idea/Innovation
  2. Methodology
  3. Societal Impact
  4. Market potential

On the basis of the above criteria, all the identified projects were evaluated and successful innovation projects/ideas were selected for Awards.
